How, you ask, does withinsight technologies create fabulously complex, interactive websites that are so affordable? We do this by using open-source CMS technologies like Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress. If you haven't heard of open-source CMS's, here's the basic jist: Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress are all types of open-source, database-driven Content Management Systems (CMS). CMS sites are those in which the user can log in and easily edit text, upload pictures, add news items, blog, add events -- all without having to know HTML. You've probably already used a CMS site numerous times before (paying bills online, using online calendars, uploading pictures to a printing service, online banking, blogging, Facebooking, etc) so we know you're already an expert. Now, when we say that "users" can log in and easily edit text, upload pictures, etc, we're talking about you! Well, you and some other people too, such as:
